Security

  • The login page is secured using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to protect usernames and passwords while they are being transmitted from users to the web site.
  • Users have the ability to have their passwords sent to them in the event they forget. Passwords are only sent to the email address that the administrator setup for the user.
  • Users have the ability to change their password on their own.
  • Users also have the ability to save their password to their own browser using cookies so they don't have to reenter their username and password every time they go to the site.
  • One of three security levels that can be assigned to a user: administrator, sales rep., or customer/prospect.
  • Your database of information will be completely separate from all other TCG customer databases.
  • Your database of information will be backed up on a nightly basis.
  • As standard practice, we utilize many measures to insure the security or your data.
  • We do NOT give out or sell your information.

Setup

  • You can easily get your new pricing site up and running by using the setup wizard that walks you through the recommended order of configuring the site.
  • A Help icon is located at the top of every page to help answer questions.

Rack Sheets

  • You can currently choose from three different rack sheets.
  • Rack Sheet (standard) - this rack sheet shows your products across the top and your suppliers down the side. Any minimum price group products, such as "Low Rack" and "Low Brand" are shown at the bottom.
  • Express Fueling Price Sheet - this rack sheet shows you the prices you are quoting to the customers that have been denoted as "express fueling."
  • Retail Rack Sheet - this rack sheet shows you the prices you are quoting to the customers that have been denoted as "retail."
  • Your rack sheets will be faxed to your office daily as an additional measure to insure that your sales representatives have access to the prices they need.

Customers/Prospects

  • Customers can get their quotes online at any time.
  • Customers can "Request An Order" online at any time.
  • Customer order requests are emailed directly to the sales representatives assigned to that customer.
  • Customers receive automated faxes or emails as often as you decide. If prices change mid-day, it is an easy click of the button to send out the new faxes or emails to your customers!

Sales Representatives

  • Sales representatives can only view customer information for customers that have been assigned to them.
  • Sales representatives can update contact information for the customers/prospects they have been assigned.

Administrators

  • Administrators have full control over the system.
  • Administrators are the only users who can create and delete users from the system.

Quotes

  • Quotes can be sent via email or fax.
  • The quotes can be scheduled to go out daily, any day(s) of the week, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
  • Customers/prospects are quoted only the products that you assign to them.
  • Each product can be marked up or down at the customer and product level.
  • A freight rate can be assigned to each location.
  • Each customer can be assigned a tax jurisdiction that will automatically add tax to the price.
  • All quotations can be shown with and/or without tax.
  • Quotes can be based on a minimum price of several products as well, such as when setting up "Low Rack" or "Low Brand."
  • Your company name, phone number, and web address appears at the top of the quotes.
  • Your sales rep. contact information appears as the "From" on the quote.
  • The number of gallons that the quotes are based on can be included on the quotes.
  • Customers can be assigned multiple locations and quoted specific prices for each location.
  • Administrators can preview and verify quotes online.

Reports

  • Frequency Report - this report allows an administrator or sales representatives the ability to instantly verify when a customer was last sent a quote, how the quote was sent, when the next quote will be sent, and instantly send a quote now.
  • Fax Report - this report allows an administrator to see the status of their faxes, including charges, and any errors that may have occurred.

Customization

  • The pricing site is customized to your company by entering information specific to you.
  • You can define your own Terminals, Truck types, Haulers, Brands, Products, and Tax Jurisdictions.
