How do I get started? (top)
To get started simply call (800) 681-8177 and one of our sales representatives will be more than happy to get your free trial started immediately.
What do I need when I call? (top)
When you call, a sales representative will need to gather a few pieces of information, such as: Contact, Company, Address, City, State, Zip, Phone, Fax, Email, Display Company Name for the site, Display Web Address for the quotes, and Display Phone Number for the quotes.
What will happen after I call? (top)
You will be assigned a customer number, an empty database will be created for your data, and you will be sent a CD containing "Price Upload" software.
What is the "Price Upload" software, and what is it used for? (top)
The "Price Upload" software is an application that you load on a PC in your office. This application will enable you to send your DTN prices directly to your pricing site.
What are the requirements of the PC for the "Price Upload" software? (top)
Your PC will need to be running Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP or a later version of Microsoft Windows. In addition, the PC will need access to the internet and access to the export file created by your DTN software.
Can I download the "Price Upload" software from the web? (top)
Absolutely, if you want to get started before the CD arrives in the mail, simply click here.
How do I install the "Price Upload" software? (top)
Simply put the CD in the CD-ROM drive of your computer. Click Start, Run, and select setup.exe from the CD.
Where do I get the information the "Price Upload" software is asking for? (top)
You should have received a FTP Username, FTP Password, and FTP Server information once your pricing site was created. If you didn't get this information, simply email pricing.support@carsley.com along with your customer number and request the information.
How do I create the export file from my DTN software package? (top)
Start DTN's Electronic Commerce software, click Utilities, click Export Prices, select Fixed Length Net w/o SFund, Set the path and file name of the export file to be created, and click OK. If this does not work, DTN may have updated their software, so you may have to call DTN to get the latest instructions on creating an "export file".
What if my DTN terminal is not connected to my PC? (top)
You can order a Y-cable (7 feet long) by calling DTN at 1-800-779-5775.
What if I have a package other than DTN Electronic Commerce? (top)
If you can create a file of exported prices, we can work with you, and in most cases we will be able to import the prices into the pricing system. You can always install and run DTN Electronic Commerce in addition to your current package if you are unable to create an export file.
How do I seamlessly link the pricing site in to my existing web site? (top)
Simply link to http://www.efuelsite.com/default.asp?company=YourCustomerNumberHere where CustNo will be replaced with the customer number assigned to you. We can help your web administrator setup this link if assistance is needed!
How do my clients/prospects find my pricing site if I don't have a web site? (top)
You have a couple of options: (1) Simply tell us a domain name that you would like and we will register it in your name and point it to your pricing site. Then simply give your domain name out. (2) Provide your clients with the above link and have them bookmark it. (3) Have your clients go to http://www.eFuelSite.com and enter your customer number. Option 1 would be the most professional method.
How do I log into my site the first time? (top)
Once your pricing site was created, you should have been emailed a username and password. If not, please email us at pricing.support@carsley.com.
How do I set up my pricing site? (top)
To get started you will need to enter some basic information.

NOTE: It will be much easier to setup product codes and products if you make sure you successfully run and upload prices with the "Price Upload" software first.

What do I need to do to set up faxing? (top)
You need to provide us with a list of email addresses for your sales representatives. If all the email addresses are from the same domain, we would only need the domain name.
What if I need additional help setting up my pricing site? (top)
There are several places to find additional help:
